Pricing Terms and Partner Terms

Fees for the program are $USD 9,800 inclusive of all course work, room, board, transportation for all field trips and airport transfers and airfare from gate-way cities of Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Included in the program will be medical insurance while at Menlo College. Mandarin speaking guides will be available. Travel will be arranged through the China CYTS Tours (USA), Inc. with offices throughout China and in San Francisco. Any excursions or additional travel outside the 2-week course instruction period are the responsibility of the participant. A non-refundable deposit of USD $1,800 is required by April 1, with the remaining full payment of USD $8,000 be received by May 1. Number of Participants Accepted

In order to provide excellent quality for this program, we will only accept 20 students per program. We encourage interested participants to sign up early since the program fills up quickly.

Early Bird Registration Fee

Participants who register before March 1 only need to pay USD $8,800. A non-refundable deposit of USD $1,800 is required by March 1 with the remaining full payment of USD $7,000 received by May 1.

Start planning now.

  1. Make sure you have a current passport that is valid at least nine months beyond the date of your scheduled arrival in the United States.
  2. Determine which US Consulate/Embassy you should use:   Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai or Shenyang.
  3. Purchase a PIN number at a CITIC bank branch or online at .
  4. Call the Visa Information Call Center at 4008-872-333 (in Mainland China) to make an appointment for an interview.  
  5. Pay a non-refundable application fee at CITIC bank and include receipt in visa application.  
  6. Prepare the necessary documents for the interview:   Passport, 2x2 photograph, 2 completed DS-156 forms – English and Chinese, 2 completed DS-157 forms in both English and Chinese, evidence of funds to cover expenses in U.S. and evidence of compelling social and economic ties in China.   For B-1 Visitor for Business: A detailed invitation letter from Menlo College, and additional materials regarding purpose of visit.
  7. Personal interview at a US consulate or embassy.
