Silicon Valley based international business strategy firm, Minfon,
Inc. today announced it has incubated Broadband
Rhapsody, an Ethernet-to-the-Home service provider located in Sunnyvale,
California.
Launched in October 2001, Broadband Rhapsody is an Ethernet-to-the-Home
(ETTH) service provider, currently providing service in selected
residential communities in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto and Mountain
View, California. By combining the latest optical networking and
fixed wireless technologies, and the widely accepted Ethernet standard
as the network platform, Broadband Rhapsody delivers a quality,
simple, and ultra high-speed symmetric Internet connectivity at
10Mbps and beyond, surpassing services such as DSL, cable modem,
satellite, and other "wideband" solutions in the market
place today. Mr. Vincent Lui, founder of Broadband Rhapsody who
graduated from Stanford University with a M.S. and Engineer Degree
in Engineering Economic Systems & Operations Research, envisions
the company to grow rapidly in the next couple of years.
Minfon will also utilize internal resources to implement Broadband
Rhapsody's expansion plan.
